Steven grew up on farm outside of Lethbridge, Alberta and has a background in the construction industry. He earned his B.Mgt. Accounting, with distinction, from the University of Lethbridge in 2014, with a focus on supply chain management.
In 2017, he earned his J.D. from the University of Calgary. He recently joined Stringam LLP as an articling student in our Lethbridge office and hopes to be admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2018. Steven was initially and has remained interested in practicing business law, especially within the agriculture sector. He would like to extend into family law and estates too. Steven has also enjoyed criminal law matters and will see how that develops over time. Overall, he would like to work in all aspects of law as a general practitioner to discover where he best fits into the legal mix.
In his free time, Steven loves all things outdoors. Farming, gardening, hiking, hunting, camping, and fishing are relaxing for him. This includes being an active member through the Fish and Game Club. He has hatched, raised, and released Wild Merriam’s turkeys and pheasants for years in hopes to establish populations. Steven is also interested in hockey and rugby. However, his favorite use of free time is playing with his daughter and being involved with his church.
