Sharah was born in Edmonton and grew up in both Edmonton and Medicine Hat. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing from the University of Alberta in 2007. In 2010, Sharah went on to earn her LL.B. from the University of Alberta. Sharah was admitted as a member of the Alberta Bar Association in August of 2011.
During her law degree, Sharah worked as a research assistant for Professor, Tamara Buckwold, where she gained an interest in secured financing and judgment enforcement law.
Sharah is an associate with Stringam and is interested in maintaining a general practice, with a focus on divorce and family law and civil litigation. She also has an interest in bankruptcy law and debtor creditor law.
In her free time, Sharah enjoys cooking, travelling, attending concerts, and spending time with her husband, Andrew, and daughter, Emma. Sharah has been actively involved in Medicine Hat Law Day for the last several years and volunteers for the Legal Grounds Clinic through Medicine Hat Legal Help Centre.
