Mark began practicing law at the founding firm of Stringam Denecky LLP in 2005 and joined as a Partner in 2014. He continues to be a Partner of Stringam LLP, currently serving as Regional Managing Partner of the Fort McMurray practice group, and a member of the Lethbridge practice group. He has practiced primarily in Lethbridge and Fort McMurray since 2005, and serves clients throughout the province. Mark has appeared at every level of Court in the Province of Alberta and in the Provincial Court of British Columbia.
Mark has a personal and professional history of business development and supporting others in their business efforts. He has been a successful business owner of multiple businesses. Prior to practicing law he developed a program and obtained funding to help adults with disabilities to build and start small businesses. He assisted people with business planning, coaching and obtaining financing. As a lawyer he continues to assist clients in the areas of Corporate/Commercial Law including assisting with new businesses and corporations, reorganizations, and financing. He serves clients in numerous other areas of future planning, including wills and estates, as well as the often intermingled area of dividing up the family business in marital breakdowns and other Family Law matters including Divorce, Separation and Custody.
Mark is an active member of his community and church. He has been involved in Scouting and youth leadership for more than 25 years. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children. He attends as much of their various activities and sports as he can fit in. He makes a great spectator, and occasionally steps in to assist with coaching duties. Mark enjoys the outdoors, spending his free time hiking, cycling, boating, snowboarding, camping and hunting. He especially enjoys doing these things with his wife and children.
