KAYLEE NESS

Student-at-Law

Kaylee was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 at the University of Calgary where she double majored in Sociology and Psychology. Following her Bachelor Degree she graduated from the University of Windsor and Detroit Mercy School of Law cum laude where she obtained a Canadian J.D. and an American J.D in 2018.

During law school Kaylee volunteered as a caseworker and litigator with Community Legal Aid. She also served on the Executive Board of the Alternative Dispute Resolution club, as well as participated in the Peer Mentorship program and as an Ambassador for the Dual J.D. program. Kaylee also worked as a judicial extern to Judge Eric Cholack in the in the 3rd Circuit Family Court of Michigan.

Kaylee began working with Stringam LLP in the summer of 2017 as a summer student and currently works as an Articling Student. During her time as a summer student she was exposed to many different areas of law.

Kaylee’s interests are in litigation, corporate, criminal, family and employment law.

When not in the office, Kaylee enjoys shopping, travelling, knitting and spending time with her husband, Tyson and family.
