Jay was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He attended the University of Calgary where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 2003. During his time there, Jay was the recipient of numerous academic awards and scholarships, and was placed on the Dean's List. Upon graduation, Jay moved to Edmonton where he received his Bachelor of Laws in 2006 from the University of Alberta. Jay now happily resides in Lethbridge with his wife and children.
Jay maintains a general practice with an emphasis on corporate and commercial matters, real estate, wills, estates, trusts, franchising, and leasing. He also serves a wide variety of litigation clients, and has appeared numerous times before the Court of Queen's Bench and the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board. Jay works out of Stringam Denecky's Lethbridge and Brooks offices, and travels to serve clients in Cardston and Fort McMurray when required.
When not practicing law, Jay enjoys swimming, football, and reading. Jay also enjoys music, and plays both the piano and the guitar. Jay is fluent in Bulgarian and Russian.
