Profile
David was born, raised and educated in Calgary and now resides and practices law in Southern Alberta. He lives in Magrath with his wife, who is a senior high school teacher.
David has extensive background in labour and employment matters as well as experience in civil, family and criminal law. Prior to obtaining his law degree, he acted as a local and regional officer for a major national union. During law school and beyond, he acted as an independent consultant specializing in labour and arbitration matters.
After a period of private practice in Lethbridge, he was invited to join the Crown Prosecutor's office in Medicine Hat where he prosecuted offences ranging in seriousness from parking tickets to murder. In early 2003, after several years with the Crown's office, he returned to private practice in Calgary. During that time, he practiced primarily in the fields of family and employment law as well as criminal defense.
David is pleased to be a part of the Stringam Denecky team and works hard to ensure his clients receive the best possible legal representation. When he is not pursuing legal matters, he enjoys restoring vintage vehicles and playing folk guitar, golf or racquetball.
